Apr 28: Arizona Citizens for the Arts has commissioned Bryan to create a new work for the 2017 Governor's Art Awards at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale. Oct 28: The City of Portland, Oregon has aquired one of Bryan's photographs for its permanent collection, the Visual Chronicle of Portland. May 11: The Phoenix Art Museum has awarded Bryan one of five 2016 Contemporary Forum Artist Grants, as reported in the Phoenix New Times. Apr 15: Bryan has been named one of 7 finalists to receive a $5000 grant and advance to the final round of the Arrow Electronics Five Years Out Art Challenge in Denver this summer. Mar 5: The Flagstaff Arts Council has announced Bryan as the winner of the 2016 Viola Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts at this year's Viola Awards Gala, a record-setting fundraiser for the arts at the High Country Conference Center.
