Aspen Forest, Falling Snow
Kachina Peaks Wilderness, Arizona
A long exposure during a heavy snowfall creates a fog-like effect for a subtle, mysterious image in which the mind can wander. This photograph was made on the flanks of the 12,000 ft. high San Francisco Peaks, the highest place in Arizona. The Kachina Peaks Wilderness, established in 1984, is named for the spirits that inhabit this place in the Hopi religion.
